Step 1
If cooking your own rice, rinse and add to a saucepan of 460ml salty water. Bring to the boil then reduce to a gentle simmer, and cover for 15 minutes. Give it a stir half way through cooking. Test it after 15 minutes - you may need to add a splash of water and continue to cook for a few more minutes but if the rice is tender just take it off the heat and keep the lid on so it goes nice and sticky!

It's hard to find holy basil in the supermarkets here, so you can use Thai basil or just regular basil works too - I used a mixture of both here!
