Turn cooking mode on

Step 1

Chuck all of the ingredients for the chicken into a slow cooker on high for 4 hours or low for 6-8 then shred. If you don’t have a slow cooker you can add all of the ingredients to a sauce pan, bring to a boil then reduce and simmer for 40 minutes, and then you should be able to shred the chicken using 2 forks.

I’ve made the pulled Nando’s chicken many times and paired with rice, potatoes, gnocchi (see ‘Nando’s pulled chicken gnocchi recipe’) and enchiladas (search ‘Nando’s pulled chicken enchiladas’) so feel free to prep the chicken ahead and pair with whatever you fancy!
